PeerTube
A federated video platform by Framasoft: independent servers host channels and videos, and viewers watch them in the browser.
The fediverse is a network of independent servers that run open source software and exchange posts through a shared protocol, ActivityPub. Instead of one company owning every account, you choose a server, sign up there and can still follow people on other servers and even other services: a Mastodon account can follow a PeerTube channel or a Pixelfed profile. Here are the fediverse counterparts of X, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Reddit, plus Android clients for them. The Open button leads to the official server list; an account on one server is not an account on all of them.
